September Meeting Topic:
Power and Art of Creating Summary Schedules
Join us for dinner at Maggiano's Little Italy and a presentation on the power and art of creating summary schedules by Mr. Safford Black from Chronicle Graphics.
This month's chapter meeting will feature an in-person demonstration by Chronicle Graphics, publishers of OnePager project reporting software. The company's OnePager Express software is used to convert Primavera P6 schedules into PowerPoint-style reports, while its OnePager Pro tool creates similar visuals from Microsoft Project. Whether you need to build a simple project timeline, or an in-depth Gantt chart across an entire portfolio of projects, OnePager Pro and Express will enable you to do the following:
Chronicle Graphics will hold a drawing for a free license of either OnePager Pro or OnePager Express to anyone who chooses to participate, so please bring your business card to be entered into the raffle.
- Present in-depth or high-level project reports
- Group and sort tasks and milestones dynamically
- Color-code your timeline based on custom conditional formatting rules
- Track changes to your schedule over time with date-specific snapshots

His employment history includes energy industry consulting at Quorum Business Solutions, Senior Manager of Client Services at telecom service aggregator GetConnected, and Vice President of Partner Management at electronic payment processor IP Commerce. Safford holds a BA in Psychology and management from Rice University.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 6pm. A dinner will be included. Our Presentation will start shortly after 7pm.
