May Meeting Topic: EVM for the Rest of Us
Join us on Thursday May 21st for our next RMS monthly meeting before the summer break. This month we will have a special presentation from Erik Preus of Ecosys on EVM for the Rest of Us.
Earned Value Management (EVM) is the practice of evaluating cost and schedule data to measure productivity and progress throughout the lifecycle of a project. EVM, however, often has the stigma of being overly complex and burdensome to implement in a useful way. This session discusses best practices in implementing a simple yet robust earned value management solution for organizations that benefit from progress measurement and the ability to forecast cost performance, but don't need to comply with ANSI 748, the EVM standard often used by government agencies and contractors.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 6pm. Dinner and drinks will be included. The Presentation will start at approximately 7pm.
NOTE: US Citizens, please bring a valid picture identification to the meeting for Ball Security. Non-citizens of USA must register a week early (and must arrive with identification).
