Join the Association for Advancement of Cost Engineering Thursday, March 17th, for our next Rocky Mountain Section monthly meeting. The meeting will be held at the Mortenson Construction Office, 1621 18th St, #400, Denver, CO 80202.

We will have a special presentation from Bob Kohl, the Director of Infrastructure and Operations at Ball. Mr. Kohl's presentation will provide an overview of Lean Practices applicable to Project Controls and Project Management, which includes:

  • STIX Project (and Process) Management methodology
  • STIX closed loop system for value creation
  • A visual mechanism to ensure efforts are identified and tasks are adequately defined to complete the scope of work
  • Ways to improve schedule performance by identifying and eliminating blocks-to-progress before delays occur

Bob Kohl is currently in ITS as Director of Infrastructure and Operations, and has been serving within leadership, management and technical positions at Ball since 1989.

Bob is known across the company as a process and business redesign expert. He has lead and worked hundreds of process improvement efforts using Lean Six Sigma techniques within ITS, Business Administration, Program Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, New Business Development and Mission Assurance.
